Dansko or nothing!! I have to wear a school uniform and black shoes to school EVERYDAY. After years of trying every black shoe, my Mom bought these Dansko shoes for me. My feet no longer hurt by 2nd period and I can actually run up and down the hallways if I need to. Most importantly, they are very stylish!!! I know they are expensive but I think they will last me for a long time.
My girlfriend loves them - She begged for them for her birthday, and I surprised her with them and she was ecstatic. She loves them and wears them as much as possible, and can’t stop talking about how comfortable they are. She’ll wear them for as long as they hold up, which is probably going to be a matter of years.
Cool clogs - Well worth the price, these clogs are sturdy, well-built, and stylish in a clunky kind of way. They are a little heavy, though and if you have tall arches, they will require a bit more breaking in. Be prepared…but no back pain, no tired legs when walking for a long time. Make sure they fit in such a way that your heel can pull out of them without any effort.
I wear them every day. When I first got them they hurt across the tops of my feet but they quickly became broken-in and perfect! If I wear anything else when I have to be on my feet all day, my whole body hurts by the end of the day. When I wear my Danskos I could stand all day long and not be uncomfortable. They are also very durable! After near-daily wear for over a year now, they are still in great shape and show no signs of coming apart. Hooray for my BCBG Charleen Flat Shoes. Totally worth the cash!
This is my third pair of these shoes - however, this pair was very tight across the top of my foot (which my other ones weren’t) and I am going to have them stretched. I’ve heard that they are hand made and that accounts for the variations. I’m sure once they’ve been stretched that they will be as comfortable as my other pairs.
The best clogs ever! I have admired the style and comfort of these shoes for several years. Due to the price of them, I have purchased less expensive versions and not found them to come close to the quality, durability and comfort of the “real deal.” I am very happy with my purchase and even happier with the fast and reliable service offered by Zappos. I have recommended your website to many including my fiance who made a purchase this evening!! BCBG Charleen Flats. Thanks for providing an unmatched service on the web!
Ow, Ow, Ow but I love them. I normally wear a 7-1/2, and was told that I needed a size 38. They felt a little snug but was told they would “give” a little after wearing. I’ve worn them now for 4 days out of 5 this week and my feet are killing me. I love the look. I have wanted these shoes for 3 years. Finally came up with $110.00 to buy them but wish I would have argued with the saleswoman longer and insisted on a size 39. The top of my foot had a ridge across it from the shoe. I do not have fat feet. They are rather thin feet but these shoes, even with stocking type knee-highs are too tight. Wondering if they stretch after a while. If I could exchange them, I would but they have been worn. If I get another pair, I will get a size 39, not a 38.
Dansko Professional Oiled - I like my shoes very much, but they do require some breaking in. When I first got them I thought they were too small; but then I tried on a pair of the next size larger and they were way too big. So I kept the shoes and am in the process of breaking them in. They still feel tight in the toes but others who have these shoes tell me to be patient, that they will stretch out and be the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ll own. I’m not at that point quite yet, but they are getting better. I love the look of them and hope I’ll get to the point where I can wear them everyday.
I work 24 hour shifts and am on my feet alot. It takes a little bit to get used to these shoes (wear for short periods of time at first or your feet will be sore) but then they are great. I have plantar fasciitis (heel spur) and I have almost no pain now. Of note, you want them sized so that your heel doesn’t touch the back of the shoe so I got a larger size than normal. I would suggest trying them on at a local store and then ordering online.
Differences in the same size - I ordered the Blueberry Oiled and the Antique Brown Oil/Black Outsole. The Brown fits exactly like the last pair I order and is perfect. HOWEVER, the Blueberry Oil–same size–size 8–is was too small! I wore them one time, and I had blisters on all of toes and my heel. I am not going to be able to wear them again. I figured I couldn’t return them because I’d worn them once, but really, I’m going to have to throw them out! Can I return them for the next larger size? Why are they smaller than the brown ones in the same size?
